Netkode uses IEEE 1074 / 1074.1 software development standards involving precise analysis, specification, design, coding, testing, and quality assurance. For product support, Netkode uses IEEE 1219 standards.
For most of the product development projects at Netkode, we follow an extended version of RUP (Rational Unified Process) known as "Enterprise RUP" or "EUP". It is a customized version of the RUP Process to meet the requirements of software product development cycle.
Click to know more about
RUP and
EUP.
This model includes, in addition to standard RUP phases - Inception, Elaboration, Construction and Transition- two new phases, Production and Retirement, and several new disciplines, Operations & Support and several enterprise disciplines above RUP. This enables Netkode handle comprehensive Product Development and its support. This model clearly demonstrates the need for an n+1 product enhancement cycle as well, where the change cycle may begin at any stage of the lifecycle. Netkode uses different tools to capture each phase of the engineering process.
This makes Netkode flexible and adaptable, yet process-focused to deliver quality software to the customer.
